Problems for Commuters and Homeowners Due to Snow Melt!

On Monday morning , April 4, 2011 commuters were disrupted from their normal driving routine in West Edmonton. Drivers were forced to go around around a large puddle on 184 St. near 111 Ave. The city is directing drivers to use 178 St. as another route to avoid major delays. The result of spring weather arising has people calling a local business that specializes in foundation repairs 50 times a day.
Kevin Braddell, a worker with Abarent Construction directs homeowners to take the necessary measures like ensuring eaves troughs are free of ice and that downspouts are directed at least six feet away from the foundation. He also advises checking sump pumps to make sure they're working.
Edmonton residents are taking extra care to avoid potential water problems.

What to wear in winter!?

Edmonton is the coldest places I have been to. So, if you want to stay at edmonton in winter you need some "equipments". Such as earmuff, down jackets and glove.

Snow Storm in Stampede Town

On April 2, 2011 the city of Calgary was hit with a huge snow storm. Police were forced to shut down certain roads due to the fact of heavy wet snow making it difficult to drive. Trucks, cars all types of vehicles were stuck in the heavy snow everywhere. Flights in and out of Calgary were delayed due to this snowy weather in Calgary.

Weather experts predict that Calgary's spring weather is expected to return later next week.

Preparing for Flood Season!!!!

In southern Alberta last season was a drag for residents of a little town called Bow Island. Their community faced hundreds and thousands of dollars lost resulting from the flood. This time around the residents are setting up sand bags to prepare for the flood season. This community seems to be in good standing because they are uniting together to protect their homes, businesses, and each other from the possible floods that are coming their way this year.

I want to compare the weather between Canada and Saudi Arabia. They has huge differences, in Saudi the weather warmer then her, the degree in the winter 10 sometimes 9, don't have snow only rain. In the summer Canada better then Saudi, in the summer in my country the degree 50 sometimes 55, but Canada I think the degree 20, and in the summer Canada has raining, but in my country we don't have rain in the summer.
